A bit of News
I am in the process of getting a web site designed. When that happens I will have a central location for news and listings and so on. I will drop a couple of the blogs, but until then....
Cold Winters has been accepted at MLR and is in edits.
Something for Santa has been accepted at Silver Publishing for relase on Dec. 11.

Love, Grant gets wonderful review at Fallen Angels
Great news! I'm so excited. I always get this way when a good review comes in...I received a truly wonderful review for Love, Jamie's sequel today from Fallen Angel Reviews. Hayley had this to say:"...Love, Grant is quite possibly my favorite so far of all author AKM Miles' books. Isn't that a cool cover? I just love it and thank Alessia for letting me submit pictures that go along with the story. Since the dogs in the book are based on these, it made good sense and she did a great job.
I hope you like the continuation of Matt and Jason's story. The relationship isn't the problem, it's the extraneous chaos that gets in the way. Now you know me. It's HEA, but it's fun and sometimes frantic getting to it.

Jamie and Grant are back and better than ever, but they've still got things to deal with. Oh, boy, do they! It's a great story with your favorite characters and a fast-paced storyline. I hope you enjoy. Here's a little excerpt.

“Are we crazy?” Grant had asked that night as he’d walked with Jamie, holding his hand and clutching the bag with the ‘stuff’ in it. They had bottled water, washcloths, lube, condoms and candy bars.
“Yeah, but doesn’t it feel great? You’re sure no one comes out here, right? Like, ever?”
“Nah, I’ve done rounds several times, and there’s never anyone here after lights out.”
“So will someone be doing rounds checking it out tonight?”
“Yeah.”
“Grant!”
“Me. I said I’d take it tonight, silly. You think I’d take a chance with getting caught? I’m all for a little adventure, but I’m not into public displays. Here’s good,” Grant said, stopping and setting the bag down. He stood by while Jamie spread out the old quilt from the back of the car. Jamie turned from his task and opened his arms. Grant went into them with a laugh that turned into a moan.
“I know you wouldn’t take any chances. Come here with those lips.” Jamie took Grant’s mouth without their usual preliminaries. A lot of the time, their kisses were truly like building a work of art. Whoever started it would begin with soft licks and nibbles of the other’s lips, teasing and tasting. Tongues would meet and tangle, usually slowly at first before becoming more aggressive. Seldom did they stay soft and sweet for too long. Jamie usually caved first and began thrusting his tongue into Grant’s mouth, eagerness and desire evident in his moans and sighs. Grant was quick to reciprocate with his own moves, either sucking on Jamie’s tongue or chasing it back into his mouth and following Jamie’s precedent.
Of course, those kisses usually led to more lovemaking. Tonight, Jamie was changing it up a little, Grant realized as his mouth was forced open and Jamie’s tongue swept in, thrusting immediately, as if Jamie had passed over the first steps and was moving headlong into passion. Grant met Jamie’s need with a matching frenzy. However Jamie came at him, Grant was always ready to participate.
“God, you’re hot tonight,” Grant said, tightening his arms around Jamie.

Good News! The Best!
Does the guy in the back look familiar? He should! That's Jamie from Love, Jamie and he and Grant are back in this book and living and loving and fighting danger again. This comes out on April 26th from Total-E-Bound and in print on May 17th. There's great humor, great sex, great conflict, and good times right here. Check it out, won't you?
I have a Highball coming out from Torquere Press in June called Between Us Two. It's a sequel to Between Us with Matt and Jason. In June, also, I have a novel coming from MLR Press called Stone Canyon. This one was fabulous fun and I'm excited to be accepted on at MLR.

Wanna see Too Keen? Great cover, great story!
You should read this great book. It's very heartwarming, funny, and chaotic. I love the characters and don't you just love the cover?
A new one!
I have a short story, called a Sip, out now at Torquere. Right in time for Valentine's Day, it is called The Only Thing That Matters and is a sequel to Brackets. Too Keen coming out Monday!
Things sure happen when Keen Thomas and Lance Cantu get together. Wild things. Sexy things. Fun things. Crazy things. They form an almost instant bond, but somehow the police keep getting involved. Keen and Lance form an almost instant bond and end up meeting a lot of police officers. It seems that the term “Chaos Magnets” fits them to a T. SO much to tell you.
I have been so busy getting books done and in and edited and pre-edited and marketed and accepted and am still writing on a deadline.
I had one story come out today at Torquere in the Changing Lives Charity Sips line, the proceeds of which will all go to the Matthew Shepherd Foundation. I was thrilled to be accepted in this group when this charity was chosen. My Sip is called Changes. Please go to Torquere and buy lots of these great short stories. It's a great theme and there are great authors and great reads.
Take It EASY was accepted and I have just finished the first round of edits on it. It comes out November 25th at Torquere.
The Six of Pentacles: Tommy's Story is coming from Torquere on December 12th as part of the Arcana series. It is a sequel to Soldier and yes, you'll meet all the characters from Soldier as Tommy comes into his own.
Too Keen was accepted and I have just finished pre-edits on it for Total-E-Bound. It is due to come out January 25th.
I am writing Love, Grant and it will come out from TEB in April. It's coming along and. of course, is a sequel to Love, Jamie.
Between Matt and Jason has been accepted and will be coming next year from Torquere. It is a sequel to Between Us.
So, that's why I've been absent lately. So busy, and I have a deadline on Love, Grant. I'll be pretty scarce until that is done. I want to make it as good or better than Jamie. I couldn't stand for it to be a disappointment.
I've been reading a lot of good books recently that I learn about on Goodreads, a fabulous site.
I'm thrilled to be on GLBT Bookshelf. That is one of the best ideas anyone ever had, I believe.
So, that's what I've been doing. Now, it's back to work. Thanks for your support.
